BBC Radio Cambridgeshire interviews RSC’s Richard Taylor
Royston Simpson Creative’s MD, Richard Taylor, was a guest on Jeremy Sallis’s Breakfast Show this month, where he announced a new initiative – in conjunction with local property agents Bidwells – to brighten up vacant shop premises in Cambridge City Centre.

"The best way we can help to reverse the negative visual impact of the downturn in retail fortunes is to brighten up the offer” said Richard, “and these displays are designed to offer a cost effective solution to liven up the retail environment and welcome back shoppers".
Stores in the Market Square and Peas Hill have been amongst the first to be given a facelift, with colourful window banners featuring a selection of off-the-peg and made-to-order decorative themes.
The response from local business and the public has been very positive, and has prompted enquiries from the management of several major retail complexes, who are interested in using the displays in temporarily vacant units, or those undergoing refurbishment.
